Coat Drive Benefiting: The Community Resource Center (CRC) 
October 5–9, 2026 | Led by Our 2nd & 4th Grade Buddy Classes

Join the Rhoades Foundation and our 2nd and 4th grade buddies in collecting new or gently used coats and jackets for children and adults to benefit the Community Resource Center (CRC) in Encinitas. Please ensure all donation items are clean.

CRC’s holiday program provides local families experiencing financial hardship with vouchers to shop at its resale stores for gifts for their loved ones. Our donated coats and jackets will go to these stores, adding to the choices available to participating families. By helping with holiday expenses, the program allows families in need to preserve limited resources for essentials such as food, housing, and transportation.

Through this initiative, our buddy classes will learn about community needs and how their contributions can make a meaningful difference. Please join their efforts by bringing donations to the collection box at the Rhoades Lower School campus from Monday, October 5, through Friday, October 9.
