Breaking Bread

WOW! What an amazing celebration of diversity, with another year of Breaking Bread! A staple in most cultures, bread takes on many different forms around the world, from tortillas to bao buns to homemade biscuits and so much more. Breaking Bread is a way for students to come together and learn that our cultures are more alike than different.   

Our morning started with beautiful performances by UCSD’s Premier Bhangra Team at both the Lower School and Middle School.

After the performances, our Lower School students were able to sample a variety of breads with over 13 countries represented!

New this year, we also added “sips“ to our event.
