Rhoades School Students Learned About Social Responsibility at Feeding America San Diego

October 7, 2016

More than 60 Rhoades School students and parents came together on September 24th to help local San Diegans who experience food insecurity by participating in the Community Service program at Feeding America. We met at the Feeding America warehouse where we checked food expiration dates, disassembled expired packages to limit the amount of discarded packaging heading for local landfills, and packed pallets with donated food to be given to those in need. Everyone left feeling better (and tired) for having given of themselves to help someone else.

Please join us next year to experience the profound joy in giving back to others.
