Journey of the GIANT Pumpkin

Have you seen our GIANT pumpkin on the stage in the courtyard? It went on quite a journey to get there!

After two trips to the pumpkin patch, we found the perfect pumpkin!

It was GIANT and perfect, and grown in Carlsbad!

It took the strength of 3 men, but we successfully got the pumpkin into the car.

Our pumpkin’s next stop was somewhat unexpected. It took a trip to KRC Rock in San Marcos to get weighed. The wonderful people at KRC Rock had never seen a pumpkin so big, and were thrilled to help!

How much do you think it weighs?

All students will guess the weight, and the winner will be announced next week!

After a long journey all afternoon, our GIANT pumpkin finally made it to campus! What a beautiful pumpkin!

In addition to guessing the weight, each student will also suggest a name for our GIANT pumpkin. We will choose one random name the week of 10/13.

We are selling raffle tickets online and in person at the Pumpkin Patch event on 10/17. The winner will be chosen the morning of October 20th at 8:30am.
