Happy Veterans Day!

Rhoades students are in class today, and spent the morning honoring the veterans in our school community.

We had a beautiful ceremony this morning featuring our Girl Scouts with the Raising of the Colors and Retiring of the Colors.

Amanda Wirtz Rosolowski treated us to a beautiful song on the violin.

John Lindsay took a few moments to talk to our students about the importance of this holiday.

Students were allowed to invite any veterans in their family to our ceremony this morning, and they were each able to give a special commemorative coin to their veteran.

Some of our Lower School students also got to meet Mr. Ellison, who is a veteran and one of our wonderful middle school teachers!

And our Veterans were invited to stay for coffee and refreshments after our morning ceremony.
