Field Days

Each campus enjoyed some fun time outside this week with our annual Field Days! Our theme this year was World Tour, and each campus had a variety of sports inspired by countries from around the world. In addition to the field sports, the Foundation brought a very cool basketball truck to the Middle and Lower campuses. And of course everyone enjoyed popsicles after all their hard work!

Middle School

First up was the Middle School. These kids are athletes! I don’t think any of the volunteers were prepared for just how far they could throw, kick, or hit! The students were split up into teams representing different countries, and after some tough calculations, Team USA was declared the winner! Everyone enjoyed their popsicles while continuing to sign yearbooks with their friends.

Preschool

Next up was Preschool. Oh my goodness, they are so cute! Our littlest students enjoyed activities such as bean bag toss, sack races, balancing, a 3-legged race, and a snow globe filled with balloons! The snow globe was by far the most popular!

With all this practice, these kids will be well-prepared for Field Days when they transition to the Lower School campus.

Lower School

The Lower School finished out the week strong with their Field Day. In addition to all the sports sampled, we had some great dancers grooving to the tunes that were blasting on the back field.

Thank You, Volunteers!

A very special thank you to Sarah Arthur for planning our World Tour Field Day events, and to our volunteers and MCs for helping make sure everyone had fun!
