February Service Learning
This month, our Kindergarten and 3rd-grade buddies teamed up and led efforts to collect donations to fill welcome bags for the Ronald McDonald House located next to Rady’s Children’s Hospital.
As a community, we were able to collect enough supplies to create 220 Welcome Bags, each with a minimum of 10 items (some had more!). That’sover 2200 individual donation items in total!
Our students, with the help of Ms. Laff, stuffed each of the bags, which were then hand-delivered to the Ronald McDonald House.
