The Rhoades Foundation relies on donations to fund projects that enhance the educational experience for Rhoades School students. Currently the Foundation is raising funds for Tuition Assistance, Middle school Zen Garden and Barbara’s Garden. Planned future projects include Auditorium Update and Art Studio. Information on these projects can be found in the links shown below. If you would like to make a donation to the Rhoades Foundation or to a specific project, then you can select the appropriate paypal button or you can write a check payable to the Rhoades Foundation and drop off or mail the check to the office at 141 South Rancho Santa Fe Rd., Encinitas, CA 92067.
The Rhoades Foundation is a 501(3)c non-profit charitable foundation and donations qualify for tax deduction purposes.
Donate to the Rhoades Foundation General Fund
Donations received will be used to support the Foundations primary activities including community building events, teacher, classroom and laboratory enhancements in supplies or equipment, capital expense items such as new technology and tuition assistance. Donate to the Rhoades Foundation Tuition Assistance Fund
Donations received will be used ONLY for tuition assistance. The tuition assistance program is a financial “needs based” program and is administered solely by the Rhoades School. Donations to the Tuition Assistance Fund will be added to the Rhoades School tuition assistance program.

Donate to Middle School Zen Garden
Donations received will be used ONLY for the new Middle School Zen Garden. For more information review the presentation and the top view plan. In addition to having your name inscribed at the entrance or on the pathway, there are eight unique naming opportunities available. Once each of the eight unique opporunities is bought, it will no longer be available. The unique naming opportunities are available unless there is a Sold banner next to them below.
Total cost for the Zen Garden is estimated to be $18,000. Nobel Learning Communities has contributed $6,000 and preparations for the garden will commence this summer 2011.

Sometimes, Paypal will show you an error message right after you log into your Paypal account, not letting you continue. If this occured to you, it either means you do not have a credit card associated with your Paypal account (or a money balance in the Paypal account), OR there is something amiss with your Paypal account. We have seen it when a security flag has been placed on customer's Paypal accounts. If this is the case, you have two choices to continue paying electronically. You can either try the transaction again, and this time, do not login to Paypal, but select "buy as a guest" when presented with the first Paypal window. Paypal will then take your credit card and billing address information and process the payment. Alternatively, you can contact Paypal to resolve the issue with your account.
To contact Paypal, login to your Paypal account, and then click on the Contact Us at the very bottom of the page, then click on the Contact Us by phone or email on the far right of the page, then click on Call Us as one of the big buttons on the far left of the page. At that point, it’ll give you a phone number and a Web Pin. You use the Web Pin when on the phone to authenticate your account to them. Explain that you are trying to buy a Digital Download from the Rhoades Foundation and when you log in you get an error message. Tell them that the merchant told you needed to have an instant payment source, like a credit card, but you do indeed have a credit card on the account.
